Replacing Our Inadequacies With God’s Power

Replacing Our Inadequacies With God’s Power

“A Miracle in the Middle of a Valley” by Pastor Samuel Richardson is available now

If you’ve struggled with fear and insecurities, my book, A Miracle in the Middle of a Valley, is for you. I wrote the book hoping to encourage others to push forward and obey God’s will no matter how inadequate they may feel.

As a child who has gone through the foster system, I’m often left feeling empty and sad when I think about the family I’ve never known. I’ve also had a limited educational background. Through His grace and favor, God brought me through the valley and placed me on a path toward the mountaintop. My siblings and I were left on the front porch of a foster care facility as young children, but God never let go of my hand.

Now, I’m the long-time pastor of Miracle Valley Holy Ghost Temple. God is still teaching me, at 90 years of age, how to spread his message to others. I pray that my book may motivate you to trust in God’s will, even if you don’t think you’re qualified to use the gifts God gave you. Purchase my book on Amazon right now for the encouragement you need to continue your walk with God.

3 verses of encouragement

You’ll find a plethora of encouraging passages when you spend a little time reading God’s words. Here are just a few:

  1. “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
  2. “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
  3. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

As 2 Timothy 1:7 says, God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-discipline. Don’t let fear keep you from fulfilling God’s purpose in your life. Read through my book now to find more encouragement.
